For Tenant
If you have been referred to us by your Landlord or if you have received our information in the Unlawful Detainer paperwork, please contact our office.
At Privity Law, we believe that all parties should be treated with dignity and respect. There is no reason for animus to complicate an already stressful situation.
We are committed to helping tenants to achieve fair outcomes, even under challenging circumstances.
Eviction Alternatives
- Pay & Stay Agreements: Landlords are more likely to consider allowing Tenants to stay if they are willing to pay the total amount owed. Don't have the entire amount due? Most Landlords are willing to consider payment plans whereby Tenants continue making their monthly rental payments and make payment arrangements in order to pay off the outstanding balance within a year or less.
- Move-out Agreements: Tenants can reduce their liability by agreeing to surrender possession as Landlords are primarily looking to reclaim their property quickly.
- Confidentiality Agreements: Tenants that would like to keep eviction actions from being reported to credit agencies, etc. should consider entering into an agreement with Landlords that will keep eviction proceedings confidential.
Our experienced attorneys know the eviction law, they can provide you with a practical assessment of your situation and a clear plan for moving forward.
do Not sit on your rights
Privity Law is willing to work with Tenants, but be aware that will proceed with the case pausing only and until we have a agreement that is signed by all parties and approved by a judicial official.
